Scent is of candied fruit. All of the flavors work together very well. The lime back bone is very present, but I drank this blind and got more candy than lime untill i knew it was there. Fairly light for all the flavors. Very drinkable.

16 oz can, dated 8/9/21, into Ghost In The Machine Fatty Glass.
Peach colored blush with a finger of head that dwindles pretty fast to a thin fingernail, leaving no lace.
Aroma consists of strawberry daquiri mix, cream cheese, graham cracker, strawberry pop, and vanilla. A potent sour character resembling urinal cake permeates the nose all the way through. The vanilla is also quite potent at times.
Flavor brings tart strawberry daquiri mix, some sour gummy worms, cheesecake mix, mineral, and the urinal cake sour culture. Lime puree at the end gives it a bright eyes-wide-open crispy snap. The lime and gummy worms are most prominent. Some very mild graham cracker on the finishing breaths. I get more of this as it warms.
Feel is zippy with moderate stinging carbonation, nearly zero alcohol heat, and a slightly acidic finish.
Overall, another merely decent beer from my box. I can't believe this. Coconut Cream Pie Gose was absolutely incredible, and I was hoping this "pie" beer would be of the same caliber. This one is too lime-y and gummy worm-like and does not employ the pie aspects enough for me. I really hope they get back on target soon, and I don't know what the hell happened to my favorite brewery.
As of tonight, I've now had a beer from each 4 pack from my two boxes and only 42% of them scored favorably with me (5 out of 12). This is compared to 10 out of 12 in the last shipment, an 84% favorability rating. I love Southern Grist. This breaks my heart.
Let's get back on track, boys and girls...aka...LFG!
