Massive coconut and vanilla, which sometimes (often?) means undrinkably sweet for SG beers in this category. But while the aroma is definitely decadent and you certainly get a big blast of both adjuncts up front on the taste, the beer is surprisingly dry for a pastry stout. Some nice depth of flavor, though the coconut in particular crowds out a lot of what’s there. Little thin in terms of mouthfeel, but a delicious slow-sipper once you get past the decadent nose.
