Deep black. Almost still carbonation wise. Deliciously smooth and sweet flavor. Some maple and banana but neither is overpowering or stand out. Soft and silky mouthfeel. Very sweet but I like that. Dangerously drinkable.

Had on tap at Burnish Beer’s “ After Chaos” tap takeover today. Nice dark brew with a nice tan head on pour. Head dissipated fairly quickly as one might expect with the higher abv. Nose and taste came across as expected with big time Imp stout rich with maple and vanilla. More fruit sweet than candy sweet as one would hope. After warming banana and some nutmeg was more noticeable and unexpectedly some dark chocolate layered in as well. Mouthfeel was silky but accompanied by some distracting sparkling carbonation. Initially disappointed but the carb eased away nicely as beer warmed and aired out a bit.
Overall a very nice brew.

Great but sweet taste of Thai banana chips, Vermont maple syrup, vanilla beans, and a dash of nutmeg.
