A - Pours a pale golden color, largely transparent. White head, short, with some thin lacing.
S - Harsh notes of grass and spice, with an earthiness beneath, and a strong core of wine grape fruitiness.
T - Following on the nose, the core sweetness reminds me of white wine grapes, with a biting bitter finish that is tannic in quality. The earthiness, with subtle peppery spice notes, lingers.
M - Moderate carbonation, light on the tongue, with a drying finish. Quite drinkable.
O - Recognizing this is a well-built beer does not mean it hits my preferred notes. I respect rather than fully embrace it, but it is an accomplished brew nevertheless.

Have now had a fresh can (< 1 week old) and a month-old can and the drinking experiences were quite consistent. Wonderful nose and taste profile, especially for 5.5% beer. Attractive but un-noteworthy in the glass, very light coloring and opaque but not what I would call hazy. Minimal head but what’s there is surprisingly silky and provides some decent lacing. Honestly looks more like a saison than a pale ale or IPA. Feel is a touch thin, though nicely carbonated and very soft. But the fresh, bright hops, with their sharp citrus pith and pleasant (though dry) juicy notes, really tickle the nostrils and taste buds in all the right ways. Lots of crackery malts to balance the on-point bitterness. Citrus and tropical fruits at play with some sweet berries and a nice resiny finish. Incredibly drinkable.
