Dated 10/30/25, into a Tröegs pint glass.
Pours a murky dark yellow with impressive fluffy white foam. Aroma is popping out of the can and glass, classic Teal turned up to 11: dank, earthy resin, cantaloupe, and bright citrus. Flavor follows nose, bright melon, some orange juice, and a serious earthy dankness. There's great malt flavors as well with some creamy sweet oats and smooth wheat. Finish is moderately bitter but light. More melon creeps in with the malts on the finish and it ends ever so slightly with grapefruit bitterness. Feel is great, not heavy at all for how big the flavors are, and the finish is long but not cloying or overly bitter. It's very drinkable and balanced even if it trends towards these very fresh hop flavors.
Overall, Teal is on tap at every decent bar in Nashville, not quite as ubiquitous as some, but definitely in the top 5 beers in town. I really like it, since it's not overly carbed, quite complex for a standard offering, and really tasty and sessionable. Cryo Teal is one of my favorite beers, which ups the brightness of the hop flavors. DDH Teal brings more complexity and depth to the recipe without losing any of the drinkability of the original.
One of my favorite flagships and this version does manage to make it better.

Cloudy pale yellow body with a bubbly ivory white head. Lacing is intricate. Aroma is apricot, tangerine and bruised pear. Flavor follows suit with melons added to the mix and dark berries. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Slight lingering hop bitterness. Solid effort.
