Month-old can poured into a snifter. But I’ve now had several cans of this and enjoyed it multiple times on draft at SG, and each time the experience has been consistently great. Arguably the best SG hazy I’ve had in quite some time (basically neck-an-neck with Electric Ditty Bag, which I reference below, though I loved each for slightly different reasons).

Pure pineapple juice body, pale yellow-gold in coloring with a deep haze and a creamy murk. Moderate head of condensed, bright white foam but really wonderful lacing and a creamy cap of film that rides the top of the beer all the way down.

Similar to Electric Ditty Bag, you immediately pick up on the incredible orange, but here it’s not quite as bright and dominant. Candied tangerine and orange gummies mixed with sugared grapefruit and some tropical juice. Nice greenery that spans from grape vine to dank weediness without tipping over into full-on hemp or green onion. Wonderfully sweet nose, though not as amazing as Ditty Bag.

But the flavor profile shines, at least on my palate. Tons of citrus fruit and a spot-on juicy sweetness, touching on creamsicle vibes even though I wouldn’t say there’s distinct vanilla or lactose at play. The greens add a pleasant starchiness without any type of bite or burn, and I get wonderful grape, Juicy Fruit gum, berry, and melon notes on the back end to add layers and nuance. Nice resiny twang late with some delightful grapefruit pith. Semi-sweet citrus juice finish that lands just right. Ditty Bag nails the aroma, but this one nails the taste.

Feel is soft and silky with a velvety coating and chewiness that you’d expect from an 8.5% hazy. But possibly just a touch thin? Either way, it matches the look nicely.
