Served at cellar temperature. Dark brown body, no head. Aromas of bourbon, raisin, maple and a hint of rye.
Taste has maple pronounced but the sweetness is nicely balanced by earth, dark grains, mulled dark berries and barley. Light and crazy smooth, but not much else. Like a gruit and barleywine had a baby

Second entry (for my mouth) of "The Heart" series comes in a 500ML bottle with rubbery pink wax. Collab with Horus.
The pour is dark auburn with nary a bubble in sight. The nose is oddly lacking, with only a hint of spicy rye.
The Heart - Part 5 was either f-ed up or brewed still. No life at all which leads to a heavy sipping experience. Not much life in the taste either. A rye burn at the throat-back, uncommitted sweetness, slight grain rub. No way this should come in a larger container, unless you're sharing at a block party.
Second Heart. Second whiff. Have to do better, especially at the elevated price point.
