A blend of Imperial Stouts that spent 22 months in a Stagg Jr. bourbon barrel, 18 months in a Nashville Barrel Company bourbon barrel, 15 months in a Southern Collective whiskey barrel, and 15 months in a Southern Collective maple finished rye whiskey barrel. It was then conditioned on pecans, caramel, cacao nibs, coffee beans, and vanilla beans.
Brewed in celebration of our 8th Anniversary.

Drank this side-by-side with the Batch One Theory 7th Anniversary Cake.
Look - Pours a solid black color with almost no head.
Smell - Coffee, cacao, and pecans. Not as nice as the 7th Anniversary Cake to me.
Taste - Cacao, pecans, coffee, and bourbon. Lacks the sweetness of the 7th Anniversary Cake.
Feel - Flat, and somewhat dry.
Overall - I REALLY like the 7th Anniversary Cake stout, but to me the 8th Anniversary Cake falls a bit short, as it replaces the coconut, marshmallow, and peanut butter with coffee and pecans, which I feel are not nearly as tasty in this instance.

Waxed and capped 500ml chilled bottle poured into a pint glass . Thick black syrup, one of the thickest pouring beers I have ever seen , faint brown layer immediately fades over an obsidian liquid
Aroma is cacao, whiskey , maple
Taste is cacoa, chocolate, fudge, whisky, hint of caramel, maple , coffee and pecans
Thick syrupy , slight effervescent , mouth coating syrup
Good beer
