Leathery dark blackish brown body with a brown cap. The nose captures wheated bourbon and sweeter bourbon barrels, with earthly barley and some tootsie roll back by molasses and caramel. Taste is much the same, the barrels don’t seem as distinct, but rather merge together in a boozy beauty fashion, hints of dark more bitter malts and barley peek in. Feel is warmer than expected, yet smooth and has drier earthy tones.

Look - Pours a super dark black color with just a hint of red around the rim. No head.
Smell - A very nice nose of bourbon, fig, creme brulee, and brown sugar.
Taste - A wonderful blend of high-end bourbon and whiskey barrels, along with fig, vanilla, and cocoa.
Feel - At only 10.1%ABV, this is a SUPER easy sipper, Nicely creamy, with no noticeable carbonation.
Overall - This is a VERY good barleywine; definitely one of the better ones I've tried, and I've tried a lot of good ones lately.
