Canned 07/15/25 HOORAY FOR ALL THINGS HOT, into a wide wine glass.
Pours a great light orange with huge white foam, very nice. Aroma is spicy citrus and mango with some guava and a lot of creamy smoothness. Flavor follows nose with a great bitter kick from the top, lots of stone fruit and mango followed up with a great sweet citrus flavor alongside a good dank bite and some earthiness. It feels like the best of Hop Butcher (dank tropical fruit and heavy spiciness) alongside the best of Southern Grist (creamy tropical fruit and smooth sweetness). Feel is great, very low carbonation to let the bold hop flavors shine, alongside a heavier body that adds depth and complexity to the beer.
Overall, a great, complex collaboration that allows both breweries to shine. I really enjoyed this one.
