Dated 07/15/25, into a wide wine glass.
Pours a murky dark yellow with good foam and lacing, extremely thick. Aroma is berry, white wine, and dank, almost catty funk. Flavor is similar, lots of white wine funk and also fruit coming through from the Nelson, alongside a very nice raspberries and cream note. There's a little diesel, but it's not too dominant and takes a back seat to the berries and grapes. Malt flavors come through well like every one of the Mixed Greens series, expressing as soft wheat and almost graham crackery and oatmeal sweetness. There's a little orange rind as well and a gentle bitterness on the finish. Not too sweet, not very bitter, quite well balanced. Feel is standard for the series, smooth, creamy, thick, with a low body and soft mouthfeel to let the hops shine.
Stock standard entry in the Mixed Greens series that lets Nelson shine; I really enjoyed it.
