I got a can of this beer from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a smoothie thick orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus and guava presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured form 16 oz can. No date: Boo.
Fluffy white head caps a swirl of haze. Mostly golden in hue. Great retention with nice layers of lacing.
Aromas of orange zest, grapefruit juice, and more herbal/floral citrus spice. Hints of grain poke in with a gristy, almost earthy note.
Flavor begins with a wrestling match between orange zest and grapefruit pith. It's zippy. Other notes peek in as well, grass, oily pine resin, and hints of weed.
Mouthfeel is medium, carbonation is active, and finishes both pithy and earthy in its bitterness.
Overall, I really like this one. But I was surprised to find this giving off more flavors than I expected from a 100% Citra hopped beer.

Glass: Clear 16-oz. Bruges beer glass
Price: $4.29
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: April 6, 2021
Consumed: April 18, 2021
Misc.: Collab with Beer Zombies; No canned on date
Grabbed a can of this and a bunch of other stuff on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Untappd description read “100% Citra Version of Mason’s Revenge. Collab with Beer Zombies Brewing!”
Poured a medium amber semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost-perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Citra, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, dank resin, pine and spice. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Citra, tangerine, orange peel, pine, resin, grapefruit, spice and some earthy malt. More West Coast like than hazy. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Bitter (but still juicy) finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was an interesting beer. Wasn’t quite all the way hazy. Seemed like half hazy, half West Coast. Very good overall. (Overall - 3.75)

$12.94 USD plus tax per 4-pack at a beer store in Colorado.
Collaboration with Beer Zombies Brewing Co. "Hazy Double India Pale Ale." 8% ABV.
"Double India Pale Ale 100% Citra Version."
Drinks a bit warm/boozy with some naked malt sweetness coming through upfront before the hops take over. The Citra isn't recognizable, but I get vague floral and fruity flavour (though not, notably, citrus).
Drinkable, but if showcasing Citra was the idea then this is fundamentally a failure...doesn't hold a candle to Kern River's Citra and it doesn't really even evoke overtly the titular hop.
I've had worse. It's not a terrible IIPA, but I'd sooner buy Lagunitas' Lagunitas Sucks, Sierra Nevada's Hop Bullet, or any other decent widely distributed budget IIPA over this. Far from Mason Ale Works' finest effort.
