Now made with 100% Canadian ingredients! We’re still bringing you the same clean, crisp taste that you know and love. With subtle notes of honey, herbs and a sweet graininess, this is the same great lager, we’re just keeping it closer to home.

473 mL can from the brewery; dated Apr 30 2026 and served barely chilled.
Pours a clear pale golden colour, scaring up more than an inch of bubbly, soapy white head that falters within three or four minutes. A frothy collar and a patchy cap survive, with some spotty lace scattered onto the glass; looks normal enough so far. Lots of grain on the nose, with hints of dough, grass, whole wheat bread and faint rye.
Pretty straightforward at first, becoming a bit more complex later on. White bread, grainy malts and light honey sweetness give way to whole wheat bread by mid-sip, with rye bread coming to dominate the finish. Hints of grassy hops and rye spice provide a token hint of bitterness; concludes with a grainy rye aftertaste that trends off-dry. Light in body, with moderate carbonation that adds some spritz to this lager's smooth & fulfilling mouthfeel. I could easily drink several of these in a row, and I could even see myself picking this over some of my go-to pilsners, just for a changeup.
Final Grade: 4.02, an A-. Three Fields Triple Grain Lager is an excellent lager that I would already be drinking on a weekly basis, if it were available locally. As a rye beer fan, it's not entirely surprising that I enjoyed this brew - I haven't seen rye used in all that many lagers, and after trying this one I'm seriously wondering why. I suppose it might make this beer less 'approachable' to the macro crowd, but I feel like the added flavour is more than worth it. Highly recommended to lager lovers everywhere.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Erie Street Gastropub's bottle shop on Erie Street East in nearby downtown Windsor. Packaged October 17/24. My third beer from the Elora, Ontario brewery, and second for 2025...

473ml can served cold into a pint glass. Canned May 18, 2023. LCBO purchase for around $3.50 CDN.
Appearance - Pale straw color with a bit of haze. Two fingers of white head rest on top comfortable and fizzle out in somewhat short order. Not much lacing to speak of.
Smell - Plenty of grainy aromas. A touch of spiciness suggests that some rye is included.
Taste - Grainy mostly with bitter undercurrent. Light flavors with a touch of spiciness at the end.
Mouthfeel - Very smooth and more creamy than expected, the wheat may be impacting that. Light bodied and very easy to drink.
Overall - Well brewed lager that hits quite a few notes and is very accessible for new to craft drinkers too.

chrystal clear golden yellow, just a fringe of head despite good carbonation, sweet with well balanced hop bitterness. Less bland than most American light lager.

Surprisingly flavourful and a nice dinking beer. Clear pale yellow, but headless and laceless. Gentle aroma of malt and nops, some fruitiness. Lots of grain to taste, wonderful fruity finish. A notch above lager. It all hangs together nicely. Nothing over the top or in your face, just a well made drinkable beer. Well done.

My favourite Ontario lager. Three malts give subtle complementary notes that give this (typically) bland beer style a nice flavour and mouthfeel. Very mild aroma and pale straw color average for style. Highly sessionable and delicious.

A tasty, simple lager, with clean fruity grain notes. Body is golden and bright. Some bitterness in the close. There is nothing terribly surprising here, just good beer, well crafted.
