Bought several 4 packs from Pure Project during the Murk of the Beast release. I love this brewery but this is by far the worst IPA this brewery has produced. Neither this nor Murk of the Beast is murky like what Monkish or Modern Times is putting out. The taste and mouth feel is really abrasive; what you would expect from a poorly executed high ABV double IPA. I don't really get any hop aroma, juice, or citrus for that matter.
This is is a disaster and I'm upset with Pure Project just throwing this into cans without releasing it to the public first. Murk of the Beast is fantastic and this is such a flop. I'll make sure I get a taster in the future for their releases before going all in.

This is a very smooth and inviting double. The slight murkiness gives it great mouth feel and overall balance. The combination of hops gives it a familiar double dank smell, with a crisp citrus backing. The hops tickle the tongue but let up in the end for a smooth finish that melts away.

New DIPA from Pure Project. Clear, amber color with nice tropical nose. Taste is akin to a west coast ipa with a little bit of the bite taken out. Def getting an onion/vegetal flavor on the finish which overwhelms the pleasant nose.
