Double Dry Hopped Murky Triple IPA w/ Nelson, Mosaic & Citra Hop
A double dry hopped remix of our fan-favorite Triple Dry Hyped. We threw a ridiculous amount of hops into this Murk monster, and then we went back and threw in a bunch more. Intensely juicy, with a super clean dry finish. Dangerously drinkable.
50 IBU

Poured into a 13 oz Kettlehead Snulip glass canned 10/09/18. Pours a very hazy yellow orange with a solid finger plus sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin patches of lace.
Smell is guava, pineapple, tangerine, peach, and a healthy dose of grapefruit rind.
Taste follows guava, pineapple, and peach hit the tongue first, some tangerine and grapefruit hit you in the long lingering sticky finish.
Mouthfeel is big, gentle carbonation gives it that awesome soft feel, not dry but a tad sticky, and at 10.3% ABV extremely approachable.
Overall this is exceptional, a hard hitting NETIPA that only gives you a little shot of booze in the finish, a real treat.

Specifically went out to Pure Project to grab a 4-pack of Thousands of Money as I didn’t want to pay the extra $4 ($18 for ToM) for Trips on Dubs ($22). Planned on getting two for me, and one each for Chad and Bill. However, realized that I had had both beers prior and gave ToD a 4.25 on Untappd and ToM just a 3.75. At the time (Nov. 2017), wrote, “Excellent. 10.3 pct. ABV my ass.” Description read, “A double dry hopped remix of our fan-favorite Triple Dry Hyped. Poured a pale-to-gold hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled a nice mix of hops. Wow. Not sure of hops, but think there’s a bunch. Got Mosaic, Citra, Nelson and either Amarillo or Simcoe? Also mango, guava, citrus zest, apricot, stone fruit, floral, grapefruit, pineapple and tangerine. More tangerine and orange notes from the can, as well as Citra and Mosaic. Great smelling beer. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted almost as good. Wow. Got Mosaic, Citra, Nelson, Amarillo, even Simcoe?, mango, guava, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, stone fruit, apricot, floral, citrus zest, lingering peppery spice and orange blossom. That 10.3 pct. was well hidden. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Dry, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Even better than I remember. This beer was just tremendous. Certainly on my Mt. Rushmore for New England Style beers. (Overall - 4.50)
