A crushable IPA featuring Nelson, Mosaic & Hull Melon hops. The yeast and hops lead the way to form flavors and aromas of juicy mango, guava and passion fruit over a subtle bitterness.

16oz can poured into an Allagash tulip
First experience with Pure Project
p- cloudy pale orange w/ a small foamy white head; heavy lace left behind
n- soft; didn't get much of anything here at first, oddly enough; light melons and milk sugar as it opens
t- mango, melon, and a dank 'sweat' note over biscuity malt; moderate earthy zestiness from the yeast; a touch of bitterness as well; very subtle milk sugar character; unique profile; can't say I'm loving it, though
mf- full-bodied w/ med-high carb
o- not bad, but admittedly underwhelming; after seeing such high regards for Pure Project's brews and paying the big price tag ($7.49 I believe), I was expecting this to be way more memorable; I could've used the money for a 6'er of Little Sumpin' Hazy and got a more satisfying experience

Pours golden yellow with white cap I. Pint glass on draught at Eureka. One of my favorite semi-local micro breweries. Crisp, clean, and beautifully simple IPA with a zip

One tap at the Pure Project tap takeover event at Outer Orbit to kick off SF Beer Week.
Beautiful opaque murky concoction and the hops come out strong up front with an explosion of ripe fruit and a bit of dankness.

Pours a hazy yellow orange with a few fingers of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with some lacing. Aroma of tangerine, melon, and stone fruit. Taste follows nose. Full bodied. Very enjoyable.

Price: $15.00 for pint and Pure Project 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass (looks like actual beer for this deal was $3)

Snuck over after lunch to Pure Project for a new Pure Project glass, which was $15 for the glass and a beer that was served in 16 ounces. Went with this one since I hadn’t reviewed it yet. Had it once before, giving a taster a 3.75 on July 20, 2019 and writing “Dank Air Force. Very good, even with the Huell Melon.” Untappd description was “A crushable IPA featuring Nelson, Mosaic & Hull Melon hops. The yeast and hops lead the way to form flavors and aromas of juicy mango, guava and passion fruit over a subtle bitterness.”
Poured a bright light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head when I got it. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect layered foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Huell Melon, melon, tangerine peel, peach, stone fruit, Nelson, viney berry, earthy white grape, gooseberry and much lesser Mosaic. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted a lot better than I remember it, In order got Huell Melon, honeydew melon, stone fruit, peach, tangerine peel, viney berry, Nelson, passion fruit, gooseberry, mango, earthy white grape and lesser Mosaic. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
A very good beer. Couldn’t quite pull the 4 on the nose and taste, but it was close. (Overall - 3.75)

This is definitely cloudy, but the flavors are clean. Pours with a nice pile of foam in the Scotch thistle glass. Fragrant with lemon and ripe honeydew melon. Flavors of lime peel and green melon. Sharp but malty. Grapefruit peel finish.
Juicy but restrained fruity IPA. The acidity is in check and it mellows to a nearly bitter free, but astringent aftertaste. One of the better hazy IPAs in recent experience. The brewers at Modern Times should taste this before they make another batch of acid reflux. From the 16 oz can (no date) delivered from the brewery.
