We teamed up with the Foggy Makers of Humble Sea Brewing to steer the senses into an ocean of Murk. Murky Seas is packed to the brim with Motueka and Nelson from the only organic hop farm in New Zealand (New Hoplands) and Cashmere hops from Gooding Farms (ID). This Murky Double IPA has waves of guava, nectarines, and subtle rose water notes. Get underway with this one!

Pours murky haze with fading lacing white head. Notes of pineapple and mango make this one of the BEST triple IPA’s I have rated. Beautiful!

Had Sonny pick me up a 4-pack of this and another one. I love me some Pure Project beers (it’s No. 1 for me all-time (min. 10 reviews)). Throw in Humble Sea and it’s got to be good. Apparently this came out before back in 2018. Pure Project’s Facebook page called this, “We teamed up with the Foggy Makers of Humble Sea Brewing to steer the senses into an ocean of Murk. Motueka shines, but getting other two for sure. Very good, probably in 3.90 range.” No mention of Simcoe in this version.
Poured a medium yellow murky color with four fingers of rocky white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled Nelson, nectarine, peach, guava, rose blossom, passion fruit, mixed berry, floral and mango. Much better out of the glass compared to the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted rose blossom, nectarine, peach, passion fruit, mixed berry, guava, mango, floral, hints of purple grape and peppery spice. Nelson led the way for hops, followed by Cashmere (still new to it). (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just a really nice beer. Outstanding in fact. (Overall - 4.00)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
