Misc.: Quick review
Snuck over to the new Pure Project location in Balboa Park for a flight, pint and a crowler to go. This one finished off my flight, where I broke my rule and decided to review a taster. Description on the board called it a, “Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with graham crackers and cherries.” That sounded pretty interesting.
Poured a black color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy tan head when I got it. Only a few bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Average watery lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled cocoa, milk chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, honey graham cracker, bourbon and dark fruit. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste followed the nose and was just as good. Very sweet. Got cocoa, milk chocolate syrup, marshmallow, vanilla, honey graham cracker, smooth bourbon, leathery oak, dark fruit, mocha, maple and caramel. (Taste - 4.50)
Full body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, warming finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a terrific beer. Even better than I hoped it would be. (Overall - 4.50)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
