A tribute to the American hop, this complex Murky IPA features hand-selected Citra and Mosaic hops which accentuate the fruity esters of the Murky yeast strain. We double dry hopped this beauty to give it a super juicy boost, adding notes of dried mango, tangerines, lychee, and navel oranges in both aroma and flavor.

I'm still trying to find my place with IPAs. I did a 5oz taster on this, at the Miramar location. Hard for me to taste all of the notes they claim this has, but it does have a solid flavor with the citra hops. I just don't notice all the fruity flavors it says it has. Has a dry finish. Wonderful color.

Had Sonny pick me up a 4-pack of this along with a bottle of The Third Voyage. Missed the release of this one, but was happy to get Sonny to pick me up a 4-pack. Their release description read, “A tribute to the American hop, this complex Murky IPA features hand-selected Citra and Mosaic hops which accentuate the fruity esters of the Murky yeast strain. Poured a golden murky color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Like it called for, smelled big Citra and Mosaic right away. Also mango, guava, passion fruit, mixed berry, grapefruit juice, orange juice, tangerine, dank pine and floral. More Citra than Mosaic from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted even better than the nose. Like the nose, big Citra up front, followed by Mosaic, mango, guava, passion fruit, mixed berry, grapefruit juice, tangerine, orange rind, lime zest, floral, pine and lingering peppery spice. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was an excellent hazy IPA. Glad I got a 4-pack of this. (Overall - 4.25)
