Collaboration with Vitamin Sea Brewing.
We put our heads together with our friends Vitamin Sea Brewing from Massachusetts to expand our views on what a modern Murky Double IPA should be. We chose some of our favorite hops for this collaboration, providing notes of mango, peach rings, and a hint of diesel that burst through the brew.

Was lucky enough to receive this via Sonny via Kevin via Kevin’s Dad. Pure Project’s website description was “We put our heads together with our friends Vitamin Sea Brewing from Massachusetts to expand our views on what a modern Murky Double IPA should be. Poured a medium golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled strawberry, guava, pineapple, red grapefruit, mango, peach, stone fruit and hints of herbal. Just as good from the can with peach coming through more and the addition of orange citrus. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted just as good as the nose, maybe even better. In order got strawberry, guava, mango, red grapefruit, pineapple, peach, stone fruit, raspberry sorbet, powdered sugar, floral and lemon zest. Nice balance of mentioned hops, I think more Riwaka and Cashmere than Citra. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, sweet finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Wow. Really liked this beer. Glad I got to try it. What a great collab. (Overall - 4.25)
