Had Sonny pick this up for me. Originally he was going to split a 4-pack with Kevin, but ended up splitting Sonny’s two with him. Last NE TIPA I had from these guys was my favorite hazy IPA ever when I gave Forest of Giants a 4.68 on Dec. 18. Their Facebook paged called this “Murky Triple IPA with Experimental, Nelson Sauvin, & Idaho 7 Hops. This murky triple IPA is loaded with hops and juicy notes of pineapple, honeydew and grapefruit. Along with its deceptively smooth mouthfeel, this triple is sure to rock your socks off as we ring in the new year!”

Poured a murky medium yellow-to-light gold color with four fingers of white rocky head. Could see a good deal of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect uneven foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled Nelson, passion fruit, floral, sweet honeydew melon, pineapple, sugary grapefruit, light gooseberry, Idaho 7, pine, herbal, tea and some light spice. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)

Taste followed the nose for the most part. Couldn’t really decipher the experimental hops, but something different was going on there. Definitely sweet. In order got Nelson, tea, herbal, Idaho 7, viney berry, sweet honeydew melon, passion fruit, grapefruit, floral, pineapple, light gooseberry, pine, hints of black licorice and spice. Wasn’t getting the 10.2 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.75)

This was an outstanding New England TIPA overall. (Overall - 4.00)
