Behold our third-ever murky quintuple IPA, Aether Flow. As we continue to push our limits and fine-tune our fermentation skills, we’ve got to admit—we’re pretty excited about how this one turned out. It’s incredibly soft and juicy for its mighty ABV. Aether Flow features Citra, Riwaka, and Sultana hops which collectively unearth essences of pineapple, mango, honeydew, sweet citrus, and magnolia. Named after the flow of energy between all living things, this quint showcases a magnificent flow of flavors (and mouthfeel!) that have made their way from grain to glass.

Went to Pure Project for a 4-pack of this and Esoteric Knowledge. Really went there for this though. Pure Project’s website called it “Behold our third-ever murky quintuple IPA, Aether Flow. Poured a medium golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Pretty calm underneath the head with just a few noticeable bubbles. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Citra, Riwaka, grapefruit, lemon zest, caramel candy squares, pineapple, melon, mango and hints of black licorice. Was getting all that 15 pct. ABV on the nose. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
First thought on the taste was damn, that’s a lot of booze. No hiding that 15 pct. ABV. Got Citra, grapefruit, lemon zest, Riwaka, caramel candy squares, melon, pineapple, mango and lingering peppery finish. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Earthy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
In short this was good, not great to me. It definitely packed its punch but easy to move in. (Overall - 4.25)
