Collaboration with Wren House

Together with Wren House Brewing in Arizona, we introduce a murky IPA inspired by hot days under the sun. Mystery Veils the Desert reveals the depths of different hop flavors with Nelson Sauvin sourced from two New Zealand farms, both Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo from Washington, and New Zealand Pacific Jade. This brew is brimming with aromas of candied pineapple and peach rings that give way to flavors of stone fruit, honeydew and blueberry. Like a mirage but fully approachable, this lighter-bodied creation is mind bendingly refreshing.

Had on tap at South Beach Bar and Grille /San Diego.
Nice light refreshing spin on a hazy IPA. Nelson fwd with Mosaic back wall. Not much nose and body light and crisp.
Nicely made refreshing brew. Taste profile was ok.

Was psyched to see a Pure Project collab with Wren House. Pure’s email read “Together with Wren House Brewing in Arizona, we introduce a murky IPA inspired by hot days under the sun. Poured a medium yellow hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect foamy spiderweb lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled both Nelson and Mosaic right away, more Nelson overall. Also white grape, pineapple, mango, papaya, mixed berry, candied peach, orange creamsicle, grapefruit, stone fruit, cantaloupe and melon. Better out of the can with blueberry and blackberry notes coming through. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted a smidgeon better than the nose. Got peach fruit cup, Mosaic, pineapple, papaya, mango, stone fruit, mixed berry (blueberry/blackberry), Nelson, white grape, peach blossom, grapefruit, cantaloupe, melon, light peppery spice and hints of clove. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)

A really nice beer. Liked this one. Outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)
