The first birthday brew we're introducing this month is Eternal Forever, a blend of single and double bourbon barrel-aged stouts—aged in five bourbon barrels! We added organic Ghanaian cacao and wild Thai bananas—picked wild in Thailand when almost overripe and dried immediately to retain their sweet flavor. The result is a velvety and full-bodied brew brimming with flavors of bananas foster, fudge, marshmallow, dark red fruit and toasted oak...flavors that you'll want to savor long after the last sip. Cheers to six years!

Went to Pure Project specifically for this beer and saved it for last after having the first four in a flight, waiting for this one to warm up. Pure Project’s email called for “The first birthday brew we're introducing this month is Eternal Forever, a blend of single and double bourbon barrel-aged stouts—aged in five bourbon barrels! Poured a pitch-black color with one finger of khaki-tan frothy head when I got it. It was dark but appeared to be light bubbles coming along the sides of the glass. Good lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled smooth bourbon, toasted oak, cacao, milk chocolate, fudge, marshmallow, vanilla, brown sugar, banana bread, red wind, plum and raisin. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted better than the nose. In order got brown sugar, maple syrup, smooth bourbon, port wine, toasted oak, milk chocolate syrup, fudge batter, marshmallow, vanilla, banana bread, plum, raisin and semi-char wood. Incredibly drinkable for 13 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.25)
Full body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
This was a great barre-aged stout. Really grew on me as it went down. (Overall - 4.50)
