We are excited to reveal a beautiful new murky creation, Zigsa. This murky IPA was dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Cashmere, and Amarillo hops, creating aromas of pineapple, honeydew, mango and lychee that really jump out relative to the softness of the flavor. The palate showcases the nuances of the malt—particularly floral characteristics from the wheat—as well as essences of tangelo and cantaloupe. Zigsa is incredibly well balanced and this initial batch is as rare as its Tibetan snow leopard namesake; be sure to pick up a 4-pack while it's in sight.

Went over to Pure Project a few weeks ago to pick up a 4-pack of this and another 4-pack. Email description read “We are excited to reveal a beautiful new murky creation, Zigsa. Poured a golden hazy color with three fingers of frothy off-white head. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass but rather calm underneath the head overall. Excellent spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled pineapple, lemon-lime zest, strawberry, mango blossom, floral, melon, orange creamsicle, white grape and papaya. For mentioned hops, in order for me it was Citra, followed by Cashmere, and lesser Amarillo and Nelson. Even more pineapple from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got pineapple, strawberry, mango blossom, floral, Citra, melon, cantaloupe, tangerine, Cashmere, lemon, lime, orange creamsicle, Amarillo, Nelson, white grape, papaya, stone fruit, white peach and hints of peppery spice. There’s a welcomed bitterness that I wasn’t quite expecting from a hazy IPA. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Dry, soft finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a solid offering from Pure Project. Outstanding really. (Overall - 4.00)
