Our constant search for high-quality ingredients has taken us around the world, and this triple murky IPA features a global mélange of hops that we hand selected: Motueka and Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, Cashmere from Idaho, and Huell Melon from Germany. Tropical aromas of ripe papaya and mango with fresh-squeezed lime abound. Shining through its smooth mouthfeel are flavors of grapefruit, coconut, resin and lemongrass that will take your senses on a journey to worlds away.

Reviewed as: New England Triple / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. snifter glass
Price: $5.00 (20 pct. off $25 for a 4-pack because of AHA card)
From: Pure Project Balboa Park in Balboa Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Oct. 7, 2021
Consumed: Oct. 12, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Aug. 31, 2021; Split 4-pack (2/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (1/4)
Ended up picking up four 4-packs of North Park beer and Pure Project beer, splitting them with Sonny and Kevin. Pure Project’s website called it “Our constant search for high-quality ingredients has taken us around the world, and this triple murky IPA features a global mélange of hops that we hand selected: Motueka and Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, Cashmere from Idaho, and Huell Melon from Germany. Poured a light golden hazy color with three fingers of rocky white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled dank weed, pine, resin, papaya, mango, melon, grapefruit, candied lemon, herbal and pineapple. For mentioned hops, more Huell Melon and Cashmere than Nelson and Motueka. Almost as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted just as good from the nose with maybe some more orangish notes. In order got papaya, orange creamsicle, orange blossom, mango, Nelson, red grapefruit, melon, resin, black pepper, weed, pine, Huell Melon, viney berry, candied lemon, Cashmere and pineapple. Tasted pretty damn smooth for 10.3 pct. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Damn. This was such a good beer and so much better than I thought it would be. Slightly underrated this too. (Overall - 4.50)
