7/8/25 - (Taps & Barrels Beerhouse) (Las Vegas, Nevada) Bar Notes: Comped with Nevada Passport discount, 5.3% ABV.

Appearance: 14 oz draft served in a shaker pint glass. Foggy unfiltered yellow straw base, thin white head and generous thin white lacing. 3.75

Aroma: Lemon, pine, citrus dankness, medium strength. Digging. 4.25

Taste: Consistent with the aroma, pine, citrus lemon. Almost shandy like with lemonade vibes. Nice on an over 100 F day. 4.25

Mouthfeel: Light and easy, faint slightly prickly carbonation. Drinks a bit above the 5.3% ABV. Dank, lightly bitter, balanced, pine lemon start to finish. 4.0

Overall: This is a solid Pale Ale, light body, strong pleasant blend. Would enjoy this again if given the chance. 4.25

Look - plays the west coast part, though with a strong yellow clear amber effect, good CO2 effect, not much head, some decent lacing.

Smell/Aroma - Citrus, blueberry dankness, a bit of that good ol' cat pee that I enjoy on the nose. Good tropical and floral notes but still a bit old school on the nose.

Taste - Deliciously old school bitter profile on the palate, nice tart citrust bite, then a rounder -berry note on the back end from the balance of Citra and Mosaic in this.

F - Maybe too smooth? Doesn't leave a giant palate impression, and that's fine at 5.3% but it's also not that 'distinct' a beer.

O - Another solid West Coast pale ale that reminds me of some old school pale ales of yesteryear but with more care, balance, and a lean towards a nice, dry, bitter finish. Dig it.
