L: A richly black brew with a short and short lived head and some partial rings of lacing.
S: So sweet and incredibly vanilla forward.
T: Like the nose this has all the makings of a luxurious milk stout. I don't get any of the pink or sichuan peppercorns unfortunately but the brew has plenty of roasty balance nonetheless. Some rich milk chocolate and not a hint of the high ABV.
F: Silky and creamy medium heavy mouthfeel.
O: I didn't get much boubon or barrel in this one but for a sweet stout - few beat it.

Coal-black body; dense and creamy khaki head; light rings of lacing steep down the glass. Huge milk chocolate and vanilla nose; a rather murky spicy note as well. Rich chocolate and cocoa flavors with a slightly mint-like undertone; mild peppery spice flavor; some low-key chili pepper sneaks through as the beer warms. Heavy body; silky and creamy; dense residual sugars; very sweet with only the slightest hint of alcohol and pepper heat.
This is an impressive high ABV imperial stout. Supposedly barrel-aged, there is minimal suggestion of that or even the very high ABV - a neat trick for such a deceptively boozy beer. And I'm always impressed with any high ABV beer that maintains any semblance of a head, let alone a rich and creamy one. This is a collaborative effort with Drekker brewing company. This beer makes for one fine tasting experience.

16oz can served in a crystal snifter. If there is a date, I don't see it. I'm pretty sure @mr-jj gave it to me.
Pours black with a small head, some light carbonation. Smell is sweet -- smells like a pastry stout. Chocolate and loads of vanilla. Maybe booze.
Taste is sweet, chocolate, and vanilla. Might have a bit of a cherry cough syrup off flavor. Definitely boozy.
Mouthfeel is medium. Overall...it seems like it's almost really good. That hint of cherry cough syrup brings it down for me.
