Poured from a pint can into a tall tap glass.
Pours pale gold with an outstanding fluffy head and good retention. Lots of streaming bubbles.
Unique aromas for a lager. The fruity hops are more ale-like. Peach, mango, pineapple and coconut. A little earthy.
Sweet malts on the tip of the tongue. The fruity hop aromas give way to a more subdued palate on the tongue. Mild peach in midstream. Earthy/soapy hops at the finish. A bit muddly. Quite a bit of residual sweetness.
Feels almost medium bodied, but probably isn't. It looks like to should be drying if not crisp on the carbonation front, but not so.
Unique but not gimmicky. Still, it doesn't quite come together. Interesting to try Sabro in a lager, but it doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the notes.
