Redoing my review because they have significantly improved this beer since its inception. What initially struck me more as a tripel now far more resembles a farmhouse ale. Still not my favorite but its decent. Pepper, clove, a touch of orchard fruit highlight this. Now is dry with decent activity. Overall, not about to become a frequent flyer but probably something to check out every once in a while when I am jonesing for a saison and the local options otherwise remain non-existent.

On tap at the beer hall. Tasty food truck pizza. Agree with previous review: love that saison is prominently featured, thought this one a bit basic.

their flagship beer apparently, cool that its a saison, but i wished for a more complex one. this is pretty simple stuff, wheaty and fuller bodied, pale straw colored, and not as lively on the bubbles as i like my saison to be, but with a pleasing nose of ripe pears and apples and white wine, a little more belgiany on the yeast than it is rustic or farmy, too clean and too estery at the same time to really hit the mark i like in a saison, but the flavors are agreeable just like the smell, and the fruitiness i think is nice over the dry, sort of minimalist grain base. some developed funk would be killer here, but at the same time, i think the simple nature of this is also part of its appeal, although the lack of carbonation is really a bad oversight for this style i think. it felt a little amateur to me overall, but i like the idea of featuring a saison prominently on the beer menu, and i loved the overall vibe in this place. possibly the least remarkable of the beers i had in here, which is to say that they have quite a lot of interesting flavors happening in their beers, and this one was a little more straight forward...
