Thanks to hophound for this one. 16 oz can. No date.
Fluffy white head rises assertively over a semi-pulpy swirl of a yellow liquid that has an undertone of light brown. Reminds me of pineapple juice from the can. Head dissipates quickly, low retention, scattered lacing.
Nose pops with an initial burst of citrus: orange zest and grapefruit. Then a grain note sneaks a hint of creaminess punctuated with some grapefruit.
taste is more direct. Grapefruit, pineapple, gristy yet slightly creamy grain note all jump off for a fun ride.
Mouthfeel is a medium, carbonation is active, and there is a grainy feel to it that is almost chalky. A slight warming bitterness finishes things out.
Overall, pretty interesting. Would love to try this on tap.
