Deep, profoundly dark brown. A creamy off-white-sandy head rises just shy of 2 inches, hovers for a spell, then slowly retreats to a thin, solid film. Clings to the glass, leaving slaps of slow crawling paint splatters of foamy curtains.
Nose is creamy sweet oats, nuanced roast notes, toasted caramel, and hints of coffee.
Flavor follows with a gorgeous melding of caramel, roast, mildly sweet cream, and a most nuanced nuttiness. The mouthfeel is inseparable from the flavors. Just shy of medium heft, almost fluffy, yet a touch oily. This one is really good.
