Clear, brown pour; opaque dark brown in the glass; thick head, light khaki color; moderate sudsy denseness, long-lasting with sticky sheets and rings of foam inside the glass. Big roasted coconut smell right off; burnt toffee and brownies; grain char. The taste amplifies the aroma; deep, rich chocolate tones; toffee and nougat; roasted peanuts; fairly intense grain char bitterness. Heavy body; dense and silky with an overall sticky quality; subliminal alcohol warmth.
This beer is a grain char and toffee lover's dream. Lots of peanut and toffee qualities throughout with a mouthfeel that literally sticks with you. Good stuff!

L: Pours a dark black color with a small tan head and a few fingers of lacing on the glass
S: Strong earthy peanut butter with a touch of sweetness and nuttiness and hints of velvet milk chocolate.
T: Nutty earthy peanut butter mixes with a rich milk chocolate and a bit of lactose, overall a very decadent peanut butter stout.
F: Cola like carbonation, medium to large body.
O: Body is a bit smaller than I'd prefer but this is a fantastic tasting peanut butter stout.

Thanks hophound!
Looks great. Khaki colored foam atop a deep, dark brown body.
Nose pumps lightly toasted peanuts, smooth chocolate, and a most subtle creamy sweetness. But the scent of peanuts is prominent in a glorious way. Damn near elegant, as far as one can get, with peanuts.
Flavor starts off like the nose, with the peanut taking the lead. Then the nuances kick in. Peanut backs off a hair and allows for the cocoa and lactose to shine. An understated vanilla comes in after and just adds another delicate dimension. All good.
Mouthfeel is medium, light carb, and has a hint smooth finish. Lightly toasty and sweet on the finish.
Overall, a true gem. And very approachable ABV as well.
