Listed as a saison here but at the brewery they call it a sour. Actually an excellent combination of the two styles. Smells and tastes of the classic saison "funk." The oak flavors really come through on the finish. Pours a clear light yellow with a thin ring of white head that left no lacing. Light to medium bodied and carbonated, slightly dry mouth feel.

Complex and assertively sour oak aged saison. Effervescent feel, really brisk and crisp, bracing. Moderate funk, slightly woody, nicely acidic. Terrific beer, very much in the mold of the Hill Farmstead saisons. Don't miss it!
