Brilliant pinkish purple body with a matching head of a lighter shade. Moderate carbonation. Hits the nose with fresh berries and a light tartness, Very well rounded taste and mouthfeel. Not overly sour. Dangerously drinkable. Highly recommended.

No canning date. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a purplish dark red with a pink head that dissipates quickly and doesn’t leave any lacing. Just a couple of floaters visible.
S: Fruity gummy bears. Very peachy. Hints of blackberries. Slightly hoppy.
T: More blackberry than peach. Quite the opposite of its smell. First sweet, then tart. Hoppy notes are there, too, but rather in the background.
F: Juicy, full and even a bit creamy. Medium carbonation.
O: Typical HV Sour IPA with a a great flavor combination. The peach works really nice in combination with the dark berries creating a beautiful balance of sweet and tart notes.

Sweet and tart, fruity blackberry, hint of peach, and hint of hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with a blackberry fruity tart, slightly briny, and hint of stonefruity peach, hoppy finish. This has a great mouthfeel to it, I just wish the salty/briny notes were dialed back a bit...great stuff!

Can from the brewery in Beacon NY. Pours an opaque, cloudy, dark ruby red with a finger of pink/red creamy head that dissipates, decent lacing, smell is sour blackberries and vanilla yogurt, taste is tart and sweet ripe black berry, peach rings, honey granola, and funky yogurt twang, hints of dark cherry and vanilla, feel is full bodied, thick and creamy. Blackberry and peach kefir smoothie.

Can. Pours like goddamn blood. Thick and slushy. Smells like a raspberry/blackberry smoothie. Sorbet too. There is also an underlying spice element that I have picked up in the other Hudson Valley beers like this. It might be a yeast element because it reminds me of faint clove/cinnamon or maybe even rosemary. Kinda smells like one of those organic fruit leather chews. Flavor is like a melted organic fruit popsicle. The ones with actual pieces of fruit in there. Sourness sorta lingers but builds on the palate after a few sips. Subtle peaches and cream finish. Full, full, full bodied. No alcohol and not much carbonation. A big, sentient fruit-monster beer. My main gripe is I don't get where you'd reasonably be correct in calling this a Double IPA. More marketing than anything else. Overall, it's something only Hudson Valley can really pull off.

Pours purple color with a 2-3 finger thick foamy pink colored head that faded slowly and left minimal lacing. Smells of wheat, dry grass, peaches, blackberries, a mix of fruit and earthy notes. Not much of a hop presence in the nose, as the fruits dominate the aroma.
Nice flavor for a sour DIPA, with the blackberries and peaches as the stars of the show. It’s tart and sour, hides the alcohol well and has a nice level of bitterness, but it’s a tad bit too sweet and I was hoping for more hoppy components besides the trailing grapefruit and lemon zest.

Appearance: Pours the color of a raspberry slushee with a two finger mauve head; decent retention and few spots of lace
Smell: The blend of blackberry and peach comes through on the aroma, with the tarter aspect of the blackberry blending with the sweeter peaches and cream element; a hint of citrus pith
Taste: Tart blackberry forward with a growing sour element; in the middle, some citrus appears, in the middle, and then the flavor takes a sharp detour to the sweeter peaches and cream flavor and a slightly floral element in the finish; the sourness is apparent from start to finish, however
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; creamy
Overall; I would have anticipated the blackberry to overwhelm the peach but was quite impressed by the one-two fruit punch
Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity
