Well, here we are: this is the most revolting beverage I have ever put into my mouth. I mean, sweet hell... it just looks scary. I really did want to like it when I first poured it, alas... I don’t know, maybe it looks like fruit punch left in the sun - so it can’t be that bad! But nah, it looks more like blood that drained from a deep flesh wound. As we move along, I honestly wish that I could tell you what it smells like, but I just have no idea. Rotten flesh. Battery acid. Putrid rotting fruit... Dear Lord, where the hell am I? But it doesn’t stop there. I then took a sip... Oh my sweet hell. This is like the Marque de Sade of beers. What in the hell did I do to deserve this? It is pure pain.

Run, my children. Run very far and hide!

Appearance: Pours the color of apricot nectar with a massive head that has a hint of peach; good retention and spotty lace

Smell: Prickly pear and orange tones; rather sour with a hint of creamsicle

Taste: Tart prickly pear forward with a blood orange flavor building; almost medicinally bitter, in the middle, with a sour finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: I really liked the Blackberry/Peach version but the blend here is harsh and somewhat medicinal; more of an acquired taste, I guess

Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity
