Odell Teku
devoured_by_vermin
Deep hazy gold with a tall fluffy cap of 2 fingers receding to a thin ring in the Teku. Bubbles remain on top.
Aromas of chalk, musty towel, wet dog, grapefruit, tangerine, semi-clean socks, and mineral.
Flavor brings tart lemon icing, blood oranges, grapefruit peel, tangerines, some red berry, wet grass, and golden grain.
Feel is carbonated and semi-creamy with a mild alcohol presence. Slight clinging resins.
Overall this was okay. Usually Hudson Valley has knocked my socks off but these two Unity beers have been just okay in my book. Gotta find the darker ones.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with a fizzy three finger head that fades away; no meaningful lacing
Smell: Tart lemon; grainy, grassy and herbal
Taste: Lemon verbena forward, with an increasingly sour tone developing; grassy and herbaceous, after the swallow; a hint of honey lingers in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: A Sour IPA (if Brut IPA has a category, Sour IPA should, too) but there is not as much going on here beyond the lemon verbena
Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity
