Had tried this before, but snuck out to Burning Beard to review a few beers. The half pour seemed to be more than eight ounces, probably closer to 10. Gave this a 4.25 on May 20, sharing a crowler with Chris, and a 4.25 again on two days later. Was excited to finally review it.
Poured a gold, semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky, white head. Slow moving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. World-class spotty lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Zeus, lemon, dish soap, floral, lime, Citra, fresh-cut grass, guava and mango. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted just as good and followed the nose nicely. Got Zeus, Citra, lemon, lime, dish soap, floral, fresh-cut grass, guava and mango. NOTE: Was later told that there was Simcoe and Columbus in there, but no Citra. What a shock to me. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just as tremendous as I remembered it. (Overall - 4.25)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
