This is an urban crowd pleaser, electric bikes and tight pants welcomed. A West Coast dry American IPA with a heavy-hop aroma/flavor consisting of melon, tropical fruit, pineapple and light grapefruit notes.
IBU: 60
Hops: Heavy Mosaic, small amounts of Citra and Amarillo

On tap at the brewery. Pours deep golden with white head. Taste and aroma is of ripe fruit, bready malt and citrusy hops. Long dry finish. Nice brew.

Here's a classic fruity IPA. It's oddly perfumey, though. Appearance is clear yellow golden with long-lasting foam in the Pilsner glass. Some lemon-lime in the aroma with wet wood. Strange fruit taste with a mineral finish. Moderate bitterness with some astringency in the aftertaste.
Rather peculiar taste, though quite drinkable while you puzzle over it. This is not going to be much competition for Pizza Port's long-running string of hits with hoppy brews. From the 16 oz can purchased from Bine & Vine. "Canned on 12/22/2020" on the bottom.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American IPA
Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. brandy snifter glass
Price: $3.39
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: April 30, 2020
Consumed: May 8, 2020
Misc.: Canned on April 8, 2020
Grabbed one of these with a ton of others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Had tried it before, giving a taster a 3.75 on Dec. 4, 2017 at Hoffer’s. Resident’s website called it, “This is an urban crowd pleaser, electric bikes and tight pants welcomed. Poured a light amber mostly clear color with three fingers of white frothy-to-rocky head. Lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect thick foamy retention. Such an awesome-looking beer. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled big Mosaic up front, followed by viney berry, melon, mango rind, red grapefruit, stone fruit, mandarin orange peel, tangerine, Amarillo and passion fruit. Shocked there is no Nelson in here. Other hop mentioned was Citra. From the can got Mosaic, mango, tangerine, stone fruit and melon. Citra was coming in from the can though. Really had me wanting to try it. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still solid. Big Mosaic, candied melon, mango rind, Amarillo, mandarin orange peel, tangerine, red grapefruit, stone fruit, viney berry, pineapple, pine, dank resin, passion fruit and lingering peppery spice on the lips. Still can’t believe Nelson was not involved. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Much better than the last time I had this 2 1/2 years ago. Just a really good beer. (Overall - 4.00)

Light golden brew. Heavy tropical flavor. When you smell it, the hops seem overpowering yet the flavor is on par with or better than most west coast fruity IPAs.
