Nice saison , very clean finish, nice color, low alcohol, light and delicious on a perfect evening in downtown San Diego. Resident Brewing is a nice place to stumble upon!

Unique style, really well done. Very similar to a saison, but with lower alcohol content. However, really impressive the mouthfeel and flavor that they get out of a 4.5% Beer. Really good for a sessionable beer that seems like there’s way more to it than there is. I know low ABV beers are never going to rate with the high barrel aged varieties, but honestly there is isn’t anything I would change with this for the style. Super smooth, yet thick feeling. Wheaty barnyard flavor, but no skunk. Not spicy like some saisons, but not supposed to be. I was expecting to be underwhelmed, but really impressed. Gris could be the new gose, or maybe they just did a really good job with this one.
