Every spring in Carlsbad, fields of ranunculi open for the public to visit and collectively welcome the arrival of spring. Inspired by these Flower Fields and the season they bring, we brewed light and fruity hazy IPA with Nelson, Motueka, and New Zealand Cascade hops. These Southern Hemisphere hops contribute passion fruit, lime, and mango aromas, making this beer profoundly flavorful and drinkable as it gets.

Got a can of this and a handful of other stuff on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Was kind of surprised I still had this one in my fridge as I was having it 43 days after I bought it. Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a nice mix of soft hops. Really nice on the nose. Nelson stood out, followed by dank pine, mango, tangerine, passion fruit, Motueka, lime, lemon zest and hints of caramel. Almost as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted even better than the nose. Got Nelson, pine, mango, passion fruit, sugary Tang, tangerine, gooseberry, Motueka, floral, lime, lemon zest and hints of wet grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Soft, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Really liked this one. Slightly underrated this overall. (Overall - 4.25)
