was awesome to visit this place and catch up with some long lost friends, so much going on with the seattle beer scene, its always a trip! this place is rad, and they had some fun beers, anywhere that has multiple saisons pouring at any given time i am an immediate fan of. i dont know that its technically amazing, but it tastes good and hit the spot. blonde, a little less heady and bubbly than i want a saison to be, which was true with a few of theirs, but not a total issue. there is a neat complexion here for the senses to take in, chardonnay fruitiness meets a classic belgian spiciness on the ferment, befitting of the style, not real exotic, but more of a classic and clean approach, more pils type grain than wheat apparent to me in flavor and in mouthfeel also, very light on the hops but with supporting fruity notes, lightly peppery and even with a coriander note on the finish, some higher tone pear character as it warms, estery and maybe lightly soapy, but it works. some astringency as it warms a little, maybe a half step over the line for that. there is also maybe a touch of oxidation in here, which isnt always a bad thing in the style but this one isnt quite complex enough to absorb it, especially with the lower carbonation it sags a tad overall. this one was more about the space and the company than the liquid itself, which can sometimes work in favor of a beer, but i enjoyed my time here and certainly appreciated the diversity of their beer list as well as their laid back neighborhood vibe!

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light haze and moderate effervescence. Head is a thin layer of white foam.
Smell: light with a little sweetness and funk. Well composed but very low key.
Taste: nice farmhouse funk with a bit of grassy character. A decent saison.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and very nice creaminess. I dig it.
Overall: decent enough flavor with an easygoing, creamy texture. Worth a try.
