Very nice nose, betrays the tartness but with tropical scents and lime. A slight yogurt aroma. Flavour is tart with the bright tropical fruit flavours expected of a Citra beer. Juicy and flavourful. Dry finish and an active but not irritating body.

On tap.
Lovely head and lots of thick lacing all the way down the glass. Tart, on the upper end of tartness. Pleasant round mouthfeel and bit of body. The Citra gives this beer some complexity but the Saison yeast character is missing and the simple tartness of lacto can carry one through a glass but leaves you wishing for something with more going on (Brett, Pedio, etc). Overall, this is more like a Berliner than a Saison.

Nice head, some retention and lace. Slight haze, dirty straw.
Lots of citrus in the aroma, sourdough bread, underlying hint of funk.
Surprisingly sour! Seems mostly lactic, but there is a hint of funk to round it out. Lemon-lime, tangerine, nectarine, a bit like a five-a-live. Light sourdough breadyness. I like it, but I expected a bit more hop character and a bit less tartness.
Moderate body has a good acidity.
I'd say it's better than Nectarous,, but not quite as good as jelly king.
