Draft at the brewery
Big creamy thick head good retention and messy lacing, crystal clear pale straw color
Nose doughy straw malt, cereal grain, fair floral hop, grainy sweet malt
Taste starts with grainy sweet malt, cereal, straw and general lager malt, light herbal floral hop with light bitterness, soft semi crisp finish
Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher effervescent carb
Overall pretty nice, solid everyday type of lager

This is exactly what is advertised: an everyday lager.
It presents little on the nose, but nothing unpleasant: balanced, clean, and a touch grassy. Considering the style, it delivers a wonderful and straight-forward approach to an American lager. It's not reinventing the wheel, and it's not drawing out every ounce of flavor from the ingredients a la Suarez Family or Fox Farm, but it's an excellent, if simple, take on the style with few if any flaws.
