At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 355mL in a pint glass. From their Lager Mix Six boxset at The Roundhouse Centre LCBO in nearby Windsor. My sixth beer from the London, Ontario brewery, and fourth for 2025. Date stamped May 2024. With Gracie.

355 mL can from the LCBO, included in Anderson's Lager Mix Six pack. Dated Feb 21 2024 and served slightly chilled. Reviewed from notes taken last year.
Pours a clear brassy-golden colour, briefly capped with half an inch of soapy, frothy white head that scatters within a minute or two. A modest collar of suds remains, with decent lace deposition after a swirl and/or tip of the glass; looks fine to me. The aroma is basic but clean, consisting of grainy pale malts, freshly baked bread, cereal sweetness and faintly grassy hops.
The flavours are agreeable enough: grains and cereal sweetness for the most part, with bready malts and subtle notes of grassy, floral hops creeping through on the back end. Finishes with more grainy, bready malt notes that dissipate into an off-dry conclusion. Light in body, with middling carbonation levels that add some crispness to this lager's smooth mouthfeel. Effortlessly easy to toss back quickly; no reason to nurse this one, it's a genuine session lager.
Final Grade: 3.52, a B grade. I'm not going to pretend that Anderson's Premium Lager is an exciting or novel beer, but I'm not going to complain, either: besides being boring, there's really nothing wrong with it. Possibly a step up from their Gold lager, though I'd need to try them side by side to know for sure - one thing I'll say is that Premium has a little bit more of a hop presence, minimal as it may be. Would I go out of my way for more of this? Nope, but I can drink it without a fuss, and will encourage other lager lovers to give it a fair shot.
