A: The beer is clear but very dark red in color (brownish black when viewed from afar). It poured with a quarter finger high light beige head that left a thick collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sour figs are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is a little sour with additional flavors of figs and plums.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This saison is on the darker side compared to there beers in the style and tastes like a hybrid between a saison and a Belgian Dark Ale.
