Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 12/28/2017. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, citrus peel/zest, and toasted bread; with light notes of pepper, pine, honey, biscuit dough, nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, citrus peel/zest, and toasted bread; with light notes of pepper, pine, honey, biscuit dough, nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, citrus peel/zest, toasted bread, light honey/dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a delicious hoppy Vienna lager. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Great balance of clean Vienna malts and vibrant citra hops. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on base style example.

12 oz can poured into Grain Belt Nordeast glass.
Pours a burnt orange color with a thin wispy ring of grey head.
Aroma is bright with citrus fruits and slight biscuit and crystal malt. Faint onion.
Wow, lots of complexity here. I get syrupy plum, with toasted malts, bright citrus hop, white bread, grapefruit peel, and a finish of lightly toasted bread. It starts to taste a little like hoppy grape kool-aid.
Feel is very crisp and very carbonated. Lots of biting carbonation. Slight heat in the belly.
Overall, a decent lager that has elements of Belgian lore and also quite a bit like a pale lager with all the hop presence.

Starts out good, mild flavor, then transitions to a citrus aftertaste. Not a fan of beers with an aftertaste.

Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber with moderate and persistent head.
Smell is sweet malt and grapefruit. Fairly strong nose.
Taste is bready, grapefruit, lemon and some grape.
The citra hops give it more of an IPA flavor.
