Coal black pour with a dark brown one-finger head. Nice aroma of chocolate and dark roast coffee. Taste has bittersweet chocolate, light coffee and strong roasted malt flavors. Body is a little lighter than expected but drinks really easy and has good taste.

Drunk from the can while walking down Decatur Street in NOLA.
A: Dark brown with a half finger tan head that hung out for the parade. Decent lacing.
S: A great coffee/malt blend that gave way to bakers chocolate. Dangerous.
T: Subtle and smooth. The coffee doesn't overpower; it blends so well into the malt/chocolate base that you could drink this one all day. My wife and son enjoyed theirs, too.
M: Medium with medium, creamy carbonation.
O: A damn fine coffee porter, one that I would hunt down again. Urban South is really cranking out some excellent brews.

On draft, in a stange glass - straight sides.
black in color, foamy tan head. nice aroma - coffee is heavy as expected. the taste is okay, a bit acidic and bitter. thinner bodied than I'd like for the style.
