Can dated 3/23/18. Very hazy but not turbid. Golden straw color with a modest white head. Scant lacing in the glass. Somewhat muted aroma with dank resin, berries, and faint citrus. The taste had more citrus and fruit - pineapple - with a resiny finish. White wine was also there at the end. Moderately bitter with a medium soft feel.

Slightly hazy golden pour. Strong aroma of juicy citrus with a hint of pine. Taste is bitter with flavors of orange rind, pine and a bit of pepper upfront. Can also taste a distinct bread, biscuit, and earth presence. Medium bodied with an oily mouthfeel.

12oz can, sample from the brewery.
This mildly hazed golden hued brew comes off very juicy ... very piney. A whole nose-full and mouthful of pungent citrus zest, pine, blonde tobacco, green tea, pink peppercorns, fresh grass, and pith. Some pale maltiness comes across dry and holds the beer together well even when it lands quite dry. A sheer delight to experience, well done all around. Hopheads should seek this one out.

Modillion Double Dry Hopped IPA has a thick, spongy, white head, a mostly opaque orange appearance, ascending tight bubbles, descending tan chunks, and some splotchy lacing, left behind. The aroma is of hop resin (some fruit and oil), with white bread. The flavor is of white bread, fruit, pine needles, and sharp hop bitterness, which builds to the full force of the 60 IBU. Mouthfeel is into the heavy range, and Modillion finishes on the dry side.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden orange with two finger white head, plenty scattered lace. Citrusy weedy aroma. Light sweetness followed by big weedy dank and citrus peel hops. Medium slick feel. Exciting new DDH IPA by Urban South, delicious.
