Brewed with the help of our friends down at @lapepperexchange, we used a blend of their red and orange habanero to add layers of delicious fruity, tropical pepper flavors on top of a rich, milk stout. For added depth, we added milk chocolate and a touch of cinnamon to round out the peppers. Spice up your life!

Urban South's base stout is fantastic and full, so any flavor they add is bound to be good.
This time, it's local peppers and some extra chocolate.

Looks and smells pretty unasuming, but very nice. You dont really get the peppers in the aroma. What you get is a pleasant roasty stout aroma.
The taste is where it gets interesting - it starts with nice forward coffee notes and a lot of chocolate with low bitterness, but it's not unbalanced. After the chocolate sits on your tongue for a bit and it starts to go down, you get a nice smooth kick of heat. It's a nice mellow heat that doesnt overstay its welcome.
The mouthfeel is medium, with good body and a little bite of carbonation. It only adds to the drinkablity of this beer

A great choice for a smooth chocolatety stout with an even smoother kick of heat
